The release of the woman was confirmed on Thursday in Osogbo by SP Yemisi Opalola, the Police Spokesman in Osun, and Rev. Sunday Adeoye, a Senior Pastor of Union Baptist Church, Odi-Olowo, Osogbo.
The Pastor said in a statement issued by the church’s spokesperson, Mr Oluwamayowa Fagbohungbe, that the woman and her daughter were released on Thursday.

Also, the Police spokesperson confirmed the release of the victims but said she was awaiting further details.
Recall that the woman and her child were kidnapped around 6.00p.m on Tuesday while returning home from her shop.
