The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has cleared the air on the alleged release of former governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano.
Ex-governor Obiano was picked a few hours after he handed over to his successor, Professor Charles Soludo.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has moved the former Anambra State Governor, Mr. Willie Obiano to Abuja after he was arrested in Lagos on Thursday night.
The Spokesperson for the Commission, Mr. Wilson Uwujiaren, confirmed this when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) on Friday in Lagos.
”The ex-governor was arrested in Lagos, but was moved to Abuja this morning (Friday)”, Uwujiaren said.
