The Governor of Osun State Adegboyega Oyetola has pledged to restore the lost glory of Modakeke by providing basic infrastructure for the community if re-elected.
He made this pledge at Ste[phen Grammar School, Modakeke, Ife –East Local Government Arof Osun, during his campaign to the community on Monday.
Oyetola also promised to complete the abandoned Famia to Itaasin road among other road networks, saying that portable water, free education, and quality healthcare delivery would be provided for the community if re-elected.
The Governor enjoined the electorates to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voter Cards(PVCs) before Jly16 in order to have a say on who occupies the governor’s seat come 16th July 2022.
‘’As you come out en-masse to welcome me to Modakeke today, so also I want you to pull a crowd on the election day.’’.
‘’Without your PVC in your hands, there’s nothing you can do; for your PVC is your power and you have to use it judicially and judiciously,’’ he said.
The APC governorship candidate seeking a second term advised the electorate to ensure that they get to their polling centres punctually on the election day to vote for him.
It’s when you have voted for me that all promises during the campaign would be fulfilled,’’ he said.
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, Prince Gboyega Famodun, called on the citizenry to vote for Governor Oyetola.
Earlier, Oyetola had visited the Ogunsua of Modakeke’s palace, Oba Olubiyi Toriola, Ajibise1 to receive his royal blessings.
Governor Oyetola promised not to disappoint the people of Modakeke and urged them to support him with their votes.
Oba Toriola responded by warmly welcoming the governor and his campaign train and commended the governor for his footprints for his people in Modakeke.
