The former chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team, Abdul Rasheed Mains, has been sentenced to 8-years imprisonment.
He was handed the jail term by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja in a ruling on Monday.
Recall that The Economic and financial crimes commission(EFCC), had arraigned Maina and his son, Faisal, on charges of operating fictitious bank accounts, corruption, money laundering, to the tune of N2b.
His firm, Common Input Property and Investment LTD., was also found guilty
