Fire Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God to pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
The demons that controlled the life of that mad man of Gadara told the Lord Jesus that they were a legion (more than 5000). The man could no longer hear the voice of God or man because the vicious demons had blocked all means of communicating with his mind. His thinking was totally crowded by information from thousands of spirits on assignment to destroy, so he lived among the dead in the tombs outside of the town.
What I am telling you is that whoever controls a man’s mind(and there are just two options: God or Satan) ultimately directs and controls his life. Man’s mind is therefore the devil’s battlefront, from where he seeks to control destinies. To fulfill his divine destiny, it is critically important that man must bring to captivity his natural instinctive negative thoughts, desires, and emotions (as listed in Gal. 5:19-21) and submit his mind to the control of the Spirit of God and take up the mind of Christ. Whatever the devil plants in his mind, man must be alert and quickly uproot them. This can only be achieved through reading and meditating on the word of God, as well as memorizing, claiming, and personalizing them on daily basis. This will enable him to know God’s feelings about situations in his life. It will enable him to limit his thinking to whatever is true, noble, right, pure, etc as listed in Philippians 4:8.
Let us get this clear- just as Jesus came that men may have abundant life, Satan’s main goal in life is to steal, to kill, and to destroy, and he does this by releasing a constant flow of lies and deceit into the mind of man. Thank God, the blood of Jesus is constantly pleading for the defense of those who care to avail themselves of it.
Beloved, this is your takeaway for today-your thought patterns and the state of your mind determine your destiny. Why not surrender your mind to the One who knows how to deal with the enemy?

- I silence every stranger speaking to my mind. Holy Spirit, lead me all the way, in Jesus’ name.
- Blood of Jesus, release my mind from the hold of Satan, in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, teach me to soak myself in Your word, to pull down all satanic strongholds, in Jesus’ name.
- Every strongman controlling my destiny, receive arrows of fire, fall down and die.,in Jesus’ name.
- I overthrow the authority of powers of darkness over my life, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, help me to seek Your opinion about every situation in my life and do Your will, in Jesus’ name.
- Whatever I have lost through the wrong mindset, O Lord, help me to regain, as I pull down all satanic strongholds in my life, in Jesus’ name.
Prophetic Word: You have the mind of Christ and so have access to all the riches of wisdom and knowledge in God.
