An SS3 Student, master Rejoice, from Delta State has created an aircraft.

This aircraft has the capacity to fly some distance and it’s controlled by a remote–control device.

According to Rejoice, he makes use of wood and some electrical generator parts, which constitute 80% of the materials he uses to make the aircraft. He said, he has made up to 50 aircraft but most of them had damaged gradually.

When asked whether he was taught how to make an airplane in school, his response was that he got the idea by inspiration and personal research.

Rejoice is not doing this because of the financial reward. For him, loves to impact the younger ones like himself. He wants to be remembered for posterity to emulate.

To show that his interest is without measure, this young SS3 student, even though sources for his materials for production locally, goes as far as to Abuja for these materials because they are not easy to source in his immediate environment.

It is hoped that the State and the Federal Governments would take cognizance of this little boy’s innate talent and assist him and other younger and gifted ones in the country to develop our technology. They should be assisted financially or otherwise to go into deeper researches for sustainability. This will earn us some foreign exchange when the importation of aircraft is reduced drastically.
