A 28-year –Old man, Victor Ogon has been arrested by the Bayelsa State Police Command for supplying guns to criminals in the state.
SP Asinim Butswat, the spokesperson of the Command disclosed to the newsmen on Wednesday that the suspect, Victor Ogon, was arrested following a tip-off.
‘’The suspect is a notorious member of the dreaded Bobos cult group who has produced and sold several locally made guns to cultists and armed robbers in the state.’’
‘’Detectives are on the trail of some of the cultists who had purchased some locally made arms from him.’’ The SP Asimin Butswat says,’’ we urge members of the public to help the police to succeed in the task of fighting crime and criminality in the state.’’
