The lone bridge along Liberty Estate /Adetunji Community/Agunbelewo Axis needs urgent attention from the authorities concerned.
This bridge has been down for some time now. The bridge is just after the Olive Branches Secondary Schools,(when entered through Liberty Estate) back LAIM Hotels, Osogbo. But if entered the road from the Agunbelewo axis, the bridge is before the secondary school.
The dilapidated bridge has been causing a lot of hardship to both motorists and pedestrians.

The road has been taken over by erosion and now that the rainy season is here, something drastic has to be done to alleviate the hardship being faced on this road and also to prevent any untoward accident or loss of lives on the road.
The Interviews Nigeria was able to chat with some of the residents of this area who prefer anonymity; hear what they said: ’’ The road had become bad for over one year now’’. ’’Now that we are in the rainy season, the bridge, which is the one connecting our communities with the neighbouring ones, is impassable and we find it hectic to pass through the road in the evening on foot, not to talk of our cars that cannot ply the road.

‘’This is the road that links us with the Agunbelewo /Okinni areas and the township roads and what we do now is make unnecessary detours to get to our destinations’’.
The Adetunji community is also affected and is locked out because of this damaged bridge.
Efforts to contact the Liberty Estate authority have not been positive as the phone number provided could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.
It is therefore expedient for the Ministry of Works and the Liberty Estate Managers to urgently come to the aid of this community to avoid bad occurrences.
