….says “I gave birth to Four Children And none of them Is Alive”
Veteran Yoruba actress Iyaniwe of recent, shared her bitter experience in life during an interview.
Iyaniwe said that she gave birth to four children, but they have all died untimely whereas, some people used to adore and covet her public performances saying that her glory was shining despite her pathetic situation.But her response was always for them not to say that again and not to pray for the type of misfortune that had befallen her in life.
According to Iyaniwe,she had only primary school education,and her last born was a bit older then. “All the children I gave birth to only lived for three years before they died.”
However,she was grateful to God because God gave her reasons to praise Him through Oriyomi Hamzat that built her a beautiful house.
When asked about her parents,she said:
“My father is still alive and I am the only girl in the family”
“My father loves me a lot; when it was time for me to start schooling, according to the education policy at that time,”they did not accept me because my hand could not touch my ear.”
This is a heart rendering story of an entertainer,who despite her bitter experience in life,could still hold on to praise her creator.
While asking other kind-hearted Nigerians to morally and financially support the veteran Yoruba actress if God lays it in their hearts as Hamzat did,we are wishing Iyaniwe long life in good health with peace of mind.
