Monday looked like a Carnival in Osun State Secretariat,Osogbo as workers trooped out en -masse to welcome and appreciate the action governor , Adeleke Ademola Jackson to the office for walking his talk since he came to power in Osun.

Tumultuous crowd of workers, under the umbrella of the Head of Service,Elder Ayanleye Aina converged at the main gate of Osun State Secretariat as early as 10.am to usher in the governor to the Abere office with pomp and pageantry.

Songs of praises, melodious music and traditional dances were on display as a mark of joy and appreciation to the governor ,to say well-done to him for taking care of the welfare of Osun Civil Servants.
While making his speech in-front of the Secretariat building, Governor Adeleke said,” I love you all. We are changing the face of Osun.Osun is changing,now a City.”

“I am using Osogbo as a point of contact to other towns in the State.
” I am not going to abandon any project; all their abandoned projects we are doing them”. I promise to continue to do more. I love you all”,he said.

Governor Adeleke was elated thanking the Osun Workers: “I thank you for all your support. Our IGR has improved and through this I will ‘spoil’ you. I love you.”
He continued,” I have the fear of God. Any leader ,not having the fear of God is not a leader “,he affirmed.
Both the TUC and NLC leaders Comrade Bimbola Fasasi and Abayomi Arapasopo sang praises of governor Adeleke for touching the lives of Osun Civil Servants positively.

Comrade Arapasopo said,”The records of the governor is unprecedented in the history of Osun State. “Mr Governor, has made landmark achievements which touched the hearts of Osun Workers “.
” We therefore, gathered here to show appreciation to Mr Governor for his uncommon care and support for workers” ” We are hereby declaring that come 2026,there is no vacancy in Abere Government House”

He continued,” By May Day 2025, we will officially endorse you for a second term as a performing and responsive Governor.” “For the re-election,we stand solidly behind you and by your side,” the NLC chairman reiterated.
Recall,that recently,Governor Ademola Adeleke has just approved the payment of ₦75.000 as minimum wage for the Osun State workers which is above the approved ₦70,000 for the Federal Civil Servants in the country .
