The Governor of the State of Osun Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola has directed the State’s Caretaker Chairman of the APC in the State, Prince Gboyega Famodun, to withdraw the court case against some members of the party who allegedly invaded the party’s secretariat with armed thugs some weeks ago.
This directive was given on Tuesday by the executive governor of the State of Osun, His Excellency Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola in a press release by his press secretary, Ismail Omipidan.
Recall that it was alleged that the APC secretariat was bombarded by hoodlums on 14th August, which led to pandemonium at the secretariat by some hoodlums alleged to be loyal to Ogbeni Aregbesola, the immediate past governor of the State.
However, the information had it that the peace-loving governor summoned an emergency meeting of party Stakeholders and said that despite the differences amongst them, the matter could be resolved amicably as members of the same family without recourse to litigation.
Governor Oyetola commiserated with those who sustained injuries during the invasion and appealed to party members not to be resorting to self-help whenever there is a disagreement among them
