ToPaul Getty once said, ‘’The man who comes up with a means for doing or producing almost anything better, faster or more economically has the future and fortune at his fingertips’’.

Majiye in the middle
This truism came to bear as Majiye Uchibeke, a friend, and a graduate of Genetic Engineering, Baltimore University, USA, ex-Student of a Sixth –form college(A/L)-Global International College, Lagos in collaboration with other contemporaries in the USA co-produced and shot a film premiered at Nigeria Day festival on 1st July 2023 at the Convention Centre.
While at GIC in Nigeria, Majiye was aiming high with the lofty dreams of coming to the movie world.
He single-handedly made, recorded and downloaded as many of the leisure fun and entertainment scenes while on campus.

His stay in the US for further studies did not hinder him. Still, it made him more versatile and daring in his cherished ambition to mingle with the movers and shakers in the entertainment industry without jeopardizing or sacrificing his career in Genetic Engineering at the University of Baltimore, USA.

Just early this July, Majiye and other of his like minds in the USA remembered their roots in Nigeria, precisely, the Ogoniland, the ancestral home of the late Environmentalist Ken –Saro Wiwa. The rest speaks for itself.

Majiye has this to say on his Facebook page:
”Great weekend with amazing people showing our film ‘IAM More Dangerous Dead 547 Documentary about Ken Saro-Wiwa at the 2023 Essence Festival in New Orleans Louisiana.

Majiye and friend
I cannot think of a better way to share this story of a grave injustice we faced with the world”
Wishing Majiye and his team more exploits years ahead.
