It was all tears in church after a pastor was shot and killed in front of a congregation during the church service.

My deepest condolences to announce the passing of Councillor John Myaka, who was also a pastor.

The pastor was killed in front of his congregates where he was preaching.

The KZN Police are currently investigating a case of murder of John Myaka, who was shot and killed on Tuesday.

John Myaka was popular, known as a KwaZulu-Natal pastor and an African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) councillor. He was a respected pastor and also a mayor of Umhlathuze Municipality.

The pastor and a councillor were in the church during a church service where he was preaching the words of God as usual.

According to the eyewitnesses, it was reported that the pastor was shot by an assailant while in the middle of preaching.

It was reported that two other gunmen at the scene ran off. The municipality is currently working with law enforcement agencies to investigate the shooting of Myaka’s murder.

This week, King Misuzulu called for the removal of guns in KwaZulu-Natal especially in the hostels.

The Zulu King is also worried about the number of shooting and killing that is currently taking place in the province.

He is also worried that many people are losing their loved ones, and it’s sad and painful that the law cannot eliminate all the cases.
