…. Condoles Family and the State APC
Governor Ademola Adeleke has commiserated with the opposition, All Progressive Congress (APC) over the transition of its former state chairman, Adegboyega Famodun, praying to God to grant the family and the opposition the strength to bear the loss.
The governor in a statement on Sunday recalled the late politician’s long years of association with the Adeleke family while he was in the United States of America, describing him as a politician of note who contributed his own quota to the political development of Osun state.
The governor who returned to Nigeria earlier today also extended his condolences to the people of Igbajo town and the opposition even as he calls for prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
“On behalf of the government and people of Osun state, I condole the family of our late brother, Adegboyega Famodun. I got the shocking news as I was arriving in the country today.
“Our late brother was a close family friend. We mourn his sudden death. We join the family in this grieving period. I pray his soul rest in perfect peace”, the governor was quoted as saying.
