The appeal Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday,has discharged and acquitted the Leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Maxi  Nnamdi Kanu.

 

One of  Kanu’s legal Counsels, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor confirmed this development on Thursday evening.

 

The court  has ruled that the “extraordinary rendition”  of Kanu from Kenya is ‘declared illegal and consequently constitute a bar to further trial.

 

“Appeal allowed,Onyendu Maxi Nnamdi Kanu,discharged and acquitted.”

 

“We have won! Victory,Victory, Victory,” he wrote on his verified Facebook page.
