A popular National and International analyst,and a member of the Editorial Board of This day Newspaper,Dr. Okey Ikechukwu has reacted on the interview of the PDP presidential candidate,Atiku Abubakar on the Arise TV.


Dr.Ikechukwu was among many Nigerians who have reacted to this controversial interview Atike granted the Arise TV.


According to Okey Ikechukwu, Atiku’interview with the Arise TV was “uninspiring,vague ,and lack of sense of urgency”.


Recall ,that Atiku Abubakar was a guest in an interview organized by Arise TV of recent .


In this interview,Atiku spoke about the  Nigerian Economy ,his closest rivals in the forthcoming 2023 elections,his plan for Nigeria,the insecurity palavar in Nigeria and other sundry issues.


Dr .Ikechukwu said,instead of analysing issues on a deeper angle,as it should be,The former VPof Nigeria during Obasanjo’s tenure,spoke instead,in a general lighter mood.


Okey recalled that Atiku Abubakar ,having been the VP in Nigeria before,for 8 years,should be able to discuss  or anslyseNigeria’challenges in a broader way devoid of the lighter  approach  he handled it.


According to Dr Okey, even though Atiku appeared to be relaxedduring thx interview as a sign of self confidence “this was   not enough  for a former  Vice-president as the discussion was uninspiring,vague and too relaxed.


Okey Ikechukwu went further to register his disappointment with Atiku ,who instead of  talking with some sense of  urgency,he(Abubakar) “talked like someone who was having  a  party Beside a pool”
