The Osun State Police Operatives  have unearthed  the decomposing body  of an aged landlord  identified as  Oladepo Asaolu after  some days he was declared  missing.

 

 

 

Oladepo Asaolu was declared  missing on  October 5th, 2022 after he was whisked  to an unknown  destination by  a motorcyclist.

 

It was  learnt  that Asaolu , a native of  Ora-Igbomina, in Ifedayo  Local  Government Area of  Osun State , was  allegedly sold  to kidnappers  for 1Million Naira .

 

 

 

Yemisi Opadola, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident when contacted  by ‘Ripples Nigeria’ on the Telephone.

 

 

 

 

She said,’’ It is  true  that the man ‘s  decomposing corpse  was found  in the bush  on Sunday.  I gathered  that his tenant , an indigene  of OSAN Community  close to  Ora –Igbomina, sold him to kidnappers  at a price of 1 million naira.

 

‘’Meanwhile, his abductors  have been  arrested . Four of them  are   at present  in the police net’’.
