Reports had it that at a number of male youths carry their support for Binani to the height of wearing female clothes to celebrate Binani as the only female governorship candidate of the APC.
Binani, however, frowned at this at a campaign rally in Gombi, Gombi Local Government Area of the state during the weekend.
While thanking the people for giving her support, she appealed to those dressing in women’s attire as part of the support they have for her to stop it, as she has respect for all men and expects men to remain men.
The member representing Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency, Yusuf Captain Buba told the people of Gombi that voting for Binani and all APC candidates will consolidate the gains that had been made so far.
A prominent supporter of Binani, Ambassador Fati Balla said now is the time for a woman to be given a good chance to lead Adamawa State and become Nigeria’s first elected female governor.
She said Binani is particularly qualified for the office after how well she has performed in political offices, first as a House of Representatives member and as a Senator.
