A 15-year-old student of Christ the King College, Gwagwalada, Okoli Omagu Abuja, has broken the record of distinction which was possible owing to his determination, and resilient despite a teenager.
He got an outstanding score of 352 points out of the 400 maximum points obtainable in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
With this remarkable feat, Okoli has not only proven his intellectual capacity but also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his dream of becoming a medical doctor.
Okoli, is the second of three children of Omagu Okoli and Theresa Okoli from Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Right from his early age, has been exhibiting being a genius, and has being among the top 10 in his class.
With his outstanding performance in the UTME (352/400) he had been placed among the top percentile of candidates nationwide.
This is a testament to his dedication, discipline, and undaunted pursuit of knowledge.
Okoli’s vision is to study Medicine and Surgery and specialise in Cardiology. This comes from his deep heart desire to save lives, advance healthcare, and contribute to medical research.
His UTME score positions him as a strong candidate for top medical schools in Nigeria and beyond.
