Tinubu Has Nose For Details and Micro-Manages Team-Fashola

Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has issued important warning to those planning to work with Nigeria’s president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He said it was tough working with Tinubu and that he experienced it when he worked with him as his Chief of Staff many years ago.

Fashola, in an interview on Channels TV’s programme said in terms of controlling Tinubu’s schedules, it was a very tough task as he had day and night schedules.

He stated that those who are going to work with him should know that Tinubu is a nocturnal human being and that he works best in the dead of the night.

The minister said they should expect that he would wake them up in the middle of the night for functions and meetings.

According to him, Tinubu has nose for details and micro-manages his team, even more than President Muhammadu Buhari.

In his words: “I was Tinubu’s Chief of Staff for four and half years and in terms of controlling his schedule, it is a tough task because he has day and night schedules.

“For those who are going to work with him, let me warn them, he is  very nocturnal and I hope he changes, so he will wake you up, he does his best work in the dead of the night, unless you can push back and claim your space at night, he will encroach it, he is very detailed, he micro-manages, more than President Buhari.”
