It was a gory sight at Wigwe University as Police personnel stormed the campus, arresting Emeka Wigwe, brother to late Access Bank Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe.
The scenario, which was captured in a video shared on X on Sunday, saw the campus gate heavily manned with patrol vehicles.
Few seconds later, the security operatives zoomed out of the campus, whisking away Emeka as University staff watched helplessly.
The arrest was allegedly traced to the the late Herbert Wigwe’s business partner, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, who has been in the helm of the deceased property.
The fight for inheritance engulfed the Wigwe family since Herbert’s demise as relatives to the deceased had engaged Aig-Imoukhuede in several legal battle.
