The Osun State Broadcasting Corporation(OSBC) has lost one of its ace broadcasters and Veteran journalist,  Tunde Adeyemo.

 

 

Tunde Adeyemo  who was the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) of the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation Chapel, passed to glory today after a brief illness.

 

 

A   reliable source  who confirmed the demise of Mr. Adeyemo said he died on Monday  at the UniOsun Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, the Osun State capital after a brief illness

 

Our source added that late Tunde Adeyemo was admitted to a private hospital last week Wednesday, before he was referred to the UniOsun Teaching hospital, Osogbo on Saturday where he eventually passed on early this Monday.

 

 

However, a statement by the Chairman of the Union, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary, Comrade Bukola Elufadejin, the union will put on hold all activities within this period.

 

Meanwhile, a –three-day mourning has been declared by the chairman of the  NUJ Osun State Council in honour of the departed broadcaster.

May the soul of the departed rest in the bosom of the Lord.
