It was a creme-de-la-creme of media Gurus and other professionals at the NUJ Press Centre,Dada Estate, Osogbo on Wednesday as Chairman of Osun NUJ, Ajadosu launched-“Echoes of My Journey” ,his autobiography.
While reviewing the book”Echoes of My Journey”, the reviewer,Dr. Femi Adefila, CEO Rave FM eulogized the efforts of the author for putting his experiences into a compact book.
“The book is a series of reflections”. The author is committed to challenges to defeat the hurdles of his life,” Adefila said.
He explained further,that the book encapsulates the essence of story telling…as a testament of what roles journalists should play in giving out the truth, amplifying the voices of the masses as invaluable recognition of the media as performers in building a prosperous nation.
In his own assessment of the publication,the Osun Amotekun Commandant,Isaac Omoyele,says ” the book is not only an ordinary one but the one that people will learn from to shape their lives” .
Making a comment on the book launched-“Echoes of My Journey “,the author, Ajadosu charged journalists to adhere strictly to professionalism and be ethical in their reportage and other line of duties. That Journalists should shun partisanship and be balanced in their coverage of political events .
Comrade Ajadosu is of the opinion that the book will serve as a springboard for future leaders in the NUJ leadership and its constituency.
” This is my second book,and I hope to write more,Ajadosu said.
