The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Adeleke Jackson Nurudeen Ademola breezed in, to Osun State after his vacation overseas.
Without much- a- do, the governor held a media rapport with Journalists in the State, today 15th December, 2023, intimating them of their professionalism in reportage.
The governor did not hide his good feelings about the professional touch in reportage journalists in the State have been given to his administration, showcasing the grassroots development programmes in the State.
”You are my important partners for the development of our dear State and I thank you for coming”.
”I express my heartfelt gratitude to the media for the support you have given me over the last year”
Even in Thailand, people were coming to say -well done, snapping shots (photographs) with me. This is because of the good job the media in Osun is doing.
According to Governor Adeleke, ”Osun is moving to a new height and we are all part of the success story”.
Responding to the Governor’speech, the Nigerian Union of Journalists(NUJ) Chairman, Osun State Chapter, Comrade Ajadosu Wasiu welcomed the Governor back on the seat in the State and hoped that the government will appreciate the more Journalists in the State.
”I want to welcome you back to the State Sir, we are very happy to see you again.
”As our Patron, Mr. Governor, we are proud of you and we just want to appreciate you. We thank you for praising and appreciating what we do in Ossun , Ajadosu said.
In a jiffy after meeting with Osun Journalists, Governor Adeleke moved to Old-Garage-Okefia Axis to behold the ongoing dualization road project of Old-Garage/ Oke-fia/Lameco roads in the State Capital, Osogbo.
While inspecting the work done so far on the roads, the governor reiterated his commitment to ensuring the speedy completion of the dualization of the roads and making sure it is top-notch.
While the inspection lasted, at the Old-Garage/Oke-fia axis, Mr Governor was cheered by a tumultuous crowd with the loud echo of ‘Imole'(light) as he walked majestically inspecting the project and also responding to Journalists’ interview.
