The Olowu-Kuta Oba Makama Oyelude(CON) breezed in at the widely publicised Training /Workshop of the Digital Media Practitioners in Osun States today Thursday ,24th July,2025 at Ben Ber Hall,Osogbo.
While acknowledging the importance of the training for the Osun Online Journalists,the highly hospitable and revered Monarch did not forget to call for prudent and balanced reportage in their duties as the political atmosphere in Osun and Nigeria in general is gradually gathering momentum.

“The refresher course is not just necessary but timely. The media constituency is moving rapidly and you too must stay abreast to be sure that misinformation and political propaganda do not becloud the truth”, Olowu-Kuta said.
Oba Oyelude (CON),who doubles as the Grand Patron of Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) enjoined journalists in attendance to give equal coverage of political events and their actors without being partisan to any political party.
“The interest of the people at the grassroots must be paramount in your reportage,he counselled .
“Your platforms must remain open to all political parties and candidates,be it APC,PDP, ADC or or any other political parties”.
“There is no Political party that loves the masses more than the media. You,the press have the moral responsibility to ensure that truth and justice prevail”,Kabiyesi echoed.
Today’s workshop at Ben- Ber Hall was a capacity building terrain organised by the Osun Online Publishers Association(OOPA), and graced by seasoned Online Journalists of the Association in Osun State.
