Governor Ortom has said he is ready to give land to Fulani herders who are ready to ranch their cattle.

This was disclosed in Abuja at the weekend at the 72nd birthday of Professor Iyorwuese Hagar, former Nigeria Ambassador to Mexico.

The Governor was represented by the State’s Commissioner for Education, Dennis Ityavyar who dismissed the insinuation that the TIVS hate the Fulani, but that the age-long relationship between the two tribes still persists.
