*…. Promises More Succour To People Living With Disabilities….*
  Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has given the Southwest youth wing of Nigeria Association of the Blind the sum of #1m in support of their Annual South West Youth Conference held in Osun State.
The Governor made this known through the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi during their visit to the Governor’s office, State Secretariat, Abere.
While  acknowledging that we are all humans created with unique gifts and talents to live  purposeful lives, the Governor advanced that, “the people living with disabilities are entitled to better treatment without discrimination in the society in order to assist them in fulfilling their  life assignments.”
The Governor however enjoined all and sundry to be favourably disposed towards people living with disabilities in the State, saying with joint support they stand a better chance of living fulfilled lives.
Speaking at the event, Comrade Adegboye Ridwan, the Youth Leader for Southwest, Nigeria Association of the Blind, appreciated the Osun State Governor for his compassionate interest in their total well-being.
He however solicited the enhancement of educational standards for people living with disabilities, saying this would pave the way for them to equally contribute their quotas to the development of the State.
