The Leadership Newspaper just reported that the Nigeria Police Force paraded a 32-year-old male suspect, Yusuf Ismael Isah, who narrated how the leading figure of the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, escaped death.
The suspect said, “We were ordered (instructed) by my boss to assassinate Apostle Johnson Suleman but he luckily escaped. I don’t know the name of the person that gave my boss the order. I joined the gang in 2021 after I was freed from Olokuta Correctional Center where I was on remand for alleged involvement in armed robbery.
Chief Superintendent Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the spokesman of the NPF said, “When officers stormed the residence of Yusuf Ismael Isah, they found five AK-47 rifles, two K2 Assault rifles, 180 live ammunition and some suspected explosive devices.”
He added, “A gang of 7 men were the ones that attacked the convoy of the apostle. One of them is this suspect, two among them were killed during some criminal operations while the remaining four are at large.”
Recall that in last year’s October, Apostle Johnson Suleman publicized that he was attacked by some unknown gunmen along Benin – Auchi road, wherein six people, including 3 police personnel were killed.
