Today,the Kajola Community ,Ede was agog with funfair and the attendance of creme-de-la-creme in Osun State and afar to grace the occasion of the conferment of the Chieftaincy Title of Asiwaju of Kajola Community,Ede, on Mr Ayobami Agboola,the Publisher/ Editor-In- Chief of City Mirror News. His wife also was conferred with Yeye Asiwaju of Kajola-Ede at the Kajola,Ede palace in the Ede North LG of Osun State.

In his speech,after the conferment of Asiwaju Title on Chief Ayobami ,the Baale of Kajola, Chief Yunusa Kabiru admonished the new Asiwaju of Kajola Community to be more committed than before for the progress and development of the town.

According to Chief Kabiru,the conferment of the Asiwaju Title on Ayobami was made possible because of his positive contribution to the development of Kajola town,even though he’s not an indigene of the town. Chief Kabiru prayed for divine mercy and wisdom of God to help him in carrying out his roles in his new status.

In her own contribution at the ceremony, the Iyalode of Edeland, Chief OsunSoko Kafilat congratulated the new Asiwaju of Kajola Community and implored him to continue to be committed and loyal to the Baale of Kajola and the community in general.
“I enjoined you to continue the good work you have been doing for this community,”the Iyalode of Edeland echoed.
The ceremony was graced by the town’s indigenes,Chiefs and titled men and women and other well-wishers with pomp and pageantry.
