The Oluwo of Iwo-land, Oba  Abdulrasheed Adewale  Aklanbi (Telu 1) will  soon be wedded to his heartthrob  -Kano Princess  Firdaus Abdullahi

The 27 –year-old, is a niece of Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero and the wedding has been scheduled to hold on the 19th of March, at Madakin  Kano’s residence in Kano, Kano State.

Firdaus is the granddaughter of the late Emir Ado Bayero. There will be a grand reception strictly for ladies at Gidan Rumfa inside the Kano  Emir’s palace shortly after the wedding.

Oluwo is remarrying barely three years after his separation from his first wife, a Jamaican woman.

Oba Abdulrasheed became the Oluwo of Iwoland in November 2015  at the age of 48.

Earlier, a letter had rent on social media some weeks ago about the Oluwo allegedly soliciting financial support for the wedding from the Osun State Governor. However, the palace promptly released a statement debunking the claim, saying, the letter was fake and not from the Oluwo.
