Osun State Government has assured that the present administration will Collaborate with the Federal government to ensure the rapid development of the newly established College of Education,Iwo
Osun State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi made this known while receiving the Chairman and members of the Governing council of the college on a courtesy call at the state Secretariat.
While appreciating the Federal Government for the establishment of the school in the state, Prince Adewusi noted that, the school will not only bring development to the state but the community itself.
Earlier in his address, the Chairman Governing Council of the school, Justice Muhammed Suleiman commended the Adeleke led administration for the landmark achievements recorded in the education sector and others in the state.
Justice Muhammed noted that, the college is the fastest growing college among its peers established in 2019, stressing that, it has surpassed the achievements of many colleges established before it.
He therefore reiterated the need for assistance of the state in some areas which includes the permanent release of the mini campus to the college to aid its operations, construction of students’ hostel, construction of medical center for both staff and students among many others.
He further appealed for the timely intervention of the state government as it will go a long way in helping the young college grow faster and be a force to be reckoned with in the comity of colleges of Education in Nigeria.
