OLDEST MAN IN ALAAFIN OF OYO’S PALACE DIES AT 120

The news rents the air on Monday of the demise of the oldest man in the Alaafin of Oyo’s palace, Pa Morenikeji Lasisi, aka Baba Kji. He passed on to glory at the age of 120.

 

Research indicates that ‘Baba Keji’  had served three(3) Alaafin of Oyo before he passed on on Sunday, just 10 months after the demise of the 45th  Alaafin of Oyo, ‘Iku-Baba –Yeye’ Oba Lamidi Adeyemi whom he served for 51 years.

 

He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

 

May his soul rests in Aljanah.
