The organised labour on Monday has directed their affiliates to withdraw their services Nationwide on November 14th,2023.
TUC President Festus Osifo disclosed this while addressing Journalists on Monday.
The Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC)President, Osifo said the strike would remain until “government at all levels wake up to their responsibilities.
The industrial action is also to protest the assault of the NLC President,Joe Ajaero and some other executives if the Congress in Owerri,Imo State,on November 1,as well as the pending labour matters in the state.
The organised labour directed its affiliates to implement the resolutions of the National Executive Council.

Recall that Ajaero was arrested by the police ahead of a state-wide Protest in Imo State,as disclosed by the NLC’s Head of Information,Benson Upah.
Notwithstanding,the police had denied arresting Ajaero,stating that he was merely taken into protective custody to prevent a mob attack.
