He will be taking over from Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim, the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy who served in the President Buhari-led administration from 2019 – 2023.
Before this administration, the ministry was just known as the ministry of communications and Digital Economy, created to Forster a knowledge based economy and information Society of Nigeria.
It was created to facilitate UCT ad a key tool in the transformation for Nigeria in the areas of Job creations, economic growth and transparency of governance.
With innovation added to the portfolio, the ministry name will change again.
It will be interesting to know that this would entail in the new organization.
Much is however, expected from Bosun in this highly rated position especially when Nigeria had embraced ICT as one of the key areas to develop the economy and provide jobs for the youths.
