It was a gory event at a fuel station in Ekiti State on Monday when a man filled his vehicle’s tank and sped off without paying.
The unsuspecting attendant, an elderly man, had stepped aside briefly to retrieve a POS machine for the transaction.
Unknown to the driver, the station’s CCTV cameras captured his actions, including the vehicle’s number plate.
Law enforcement authorities however, utilized the footage to track him down.
The man was eventually apprehended and has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
