Fani-Kayode breaks silence on being rejected as Nigeria’s ambassador to Germany

A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has claimed that reports about him being rejected as an Ambassador by Germany are not true.

In a post on his X account, Fani-Kayode labelled the reports as “fake news”.

He said the opposition is behind the rumors because they are upset about his appointment.

Fani-Kayode also vowed he will keep working for the country.

He wrote: “Fake news everywhere.

“These opposition elements are so pained by my appointment and they are doing everything to discredit me and scuttle it.

“Whether they like it or not I will serve my country! Keep crying!”
