The 10th Anniversary of Awesome God once again resonated yesterday at the Aurora Event Centre,Ring Road,Osogbo.
It was a moment of spiritual upliftment, cultural buoyancy and communally embracing event in Osun State.
It was an occasion of gratitude to God Almighty,where great memories were rekindled and faith energized in the journey of life.
In a colourful atmosphere filled with songs of gratitude and deep spiritual reflection, the 2025 edition of Awesome God, was a time of praise event brought about by the General Manager of Osun CSDA, Dr. Mrs. Abokede, in a grand style at the Aurora Event and Conference Centre, Osogbo.

This year’s edition marked the 10th anniversary of the annual gathering, the theme, “I Will Sing Unto the Lord, for He Has Triumphed Victoriously.”
The event, renowned for reconnecting people with past and present memories of God’s faithfulness, sharing of testimonies of God, lived up to its billing.
The host created a nostalgic blend of worship, cultural expressions and thanksgiving moments that kept participants immersed in jubilations as the event lasted.
From heartfelt praise and worship sessions by different gospel singers and artists to the rendition of timeless Christians hymns, the auditorium echoed with voices lifted in thanksgiving to God of heaven and earth.
A solemn Bible reading was taken from Psalms 100:1–5, which further buttressed the importance of God’s children gathering to praise and worship Him in the beauty of His holiness.
Participants alongside the ever-charismatic ‘MC Focus’ added exceptional colour to the celebration laced with poetic renditions and evergreen end-of-year classics such as “Odun n lo so pin o baba rere,” “Labe igi oronbo,” and other traditional sonorous songs that stirred emotions and reminded many of life’s journey and divine preservation.
The anniversary celebration was graced by distinguished personalities such as Hon. Fatai Afolabi, Hon. Fagbemi Jacob, Hon. Bode Kolade, S.A. to the Governor, Hon. Fashola Rauf, Pastor &Mrs Olalekan Bukola, Evangelist Olufunmilayo -aka.”Iya Gbogomifunmi”, Princess Ajike Bakare, eminent traditional rulers-Oba Samuel Amusan,Oluwata of Iwata and a host of other traditional rulers.
IyanuOluwa Christian group, family members including the husband of the organiser, Mr Deji Abokede among others to mark this year’s Awesome God praise and thanksgiving programme.
