Actress Yetunde Asiwaju has opened up about her experience with her husband prior to traveling to Kuwait and the way he treated her upon returning to Nigeria.
Speaking during an interview on Wasilacoded TV’s official YouTube channel, the Yoruba film actress revealed that her husband forced her to take a naked oath on the Bible, swearing she would not be intimate with any man during her time abroad.
She explained, “My husband failed to see that not every beautiful woman is pursued by men. Many men avoid women they think already have multiple suitors. He demanded I strip and swear on a Bible that no man would sleep with me. Even after I stayed faithful for four years, he didn’t believe me, and that’s when our problems began. While I was working in Kuwait, I spent all my salary paying off his debts in Nigeria. Still, after all I endured, he became overly suspicious and constantly tracked my movements.”
