At the last blast of the whistle from the pitch,Governor Adeleke took his time to appreciate the players with a hand shake in turns. He also used the forum to speak to the Osun people on his laudable projects in the State and what he has in store for the people.
The Governor began by eulogizing his cabinet members:
“What we are doing is part of the second anniversary of our assumption in office.” It has been a long journey and people are wondering and doubting if it is only two years because of the tempo of our achievements.”
“Two years without borrowing a dime.” “I told God that I will try my best and would not put Osun into debt,”he said.
Referring to his critics, he said,”They don’t understand what is going on in Osun ,but we have entered a covenant with God . He is doing great for us and at times I am surprised.”
“We will not rest on our laurels;on the 27th of November,we shall start commissioning our projects. Osogbo is becoming beautiful now;Osogbo is being turned into a city.
According to Governor Adeleke,’it is not easy to defeat an incumbent. They were dazed. And the only thing I can do for the Osun people is to extend to them ,the dividend of democracy.
“I appreciate my team for being of great support in making Osun State great.
“Two years without borrowing a dime. This is two years. I told God that I will try my best not to put Osun in debt.

“They don’t understand what is going on in Osun but we have entered a covenant with God. He is doing great for us and atimes I am very surprised.
Governor Adeleke did not mince words when he sent a warning signal to his commissioners on their performances in the past 2 years, and strongly counselled them to braze up or be shown the way out.
“My commissioners, some of you are trying, while some are not” “If you want to join the train, work. If you are not, maybe we will tell you to move aside ,and let another person do the work,” governor Adeleke said.
Gov. Adeleke admonished Osun people to be ignore what happened in Edo, Ekiti and Ondo States. The people of Osun should mind what we are doing here in Osun.
“Iam doing all the ‘goddam’ projects without discriminating or prejudice to previous administration’s abandoned projects. This is because government is a continuum.”
According to Gov. Adeleke,” There is no Senatorial district that we have not touched. We are fixing the roads at every nook and cranny of the State and we have just started; the people are experiencing development;more dividend of democracy are on the way.
By the grace of God,on the 27 November 2024,we will unearth our stewardship in the past two years,he concluded.
