Akwa Ibom Governor, Umo Eno, has dismissed the consideration of taking a second wife owing to financial implications.
The governor’s statement comes on the heels of conjectures about his private life, but he has always maintained that his preoccupation is on governing the state.
He sarcastically dismissed the idea during a visit by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
He said, “I’m not considering remarrying anytime soon. I don’t have the money to pay another bride price.”
